A day to mend what time has frayed.

ReUnite Day is the annual holiday celebrated every July 11 (7/11) — a single day each year set aside for the brave, beautiful act of reconnection.

We all carry a list. The friend we drifted from. The parent we stopped calling. The love who got away. The colleague we never thanked. The sibling we haven't spoken to since the falling out. The list grows quietly, year after year — and so does the weight.

ReUnite Day is the day we put the list down. It's a soft permission slip from the world: today, send the message. It doesn't have to be a long letter. It can be a text. A "thinking of you." A memory shared. A "Happy 7/11."

Why 7/11?

7-11 has always been the easy number to remember — the corner store, the lucky roll, the day in summer when the light lasts longest. We picked it because reconnection should be easy to remember, too. So once a year, when the calendar flips to 7/11, we all share the same gentle reminder: Happy 7/11. Who are you reaching out to?

What ReUnite Day is not.

It isn't about pretending nothing happened. It isn't about excusing what hurt. It's about choosing — for one day — to open a door instead of guarding it. Whoever walks through is up to them. You only have to knock.
